About the Founder
As a first-generation, bilingual, and bicultural immigrant woman of color who was both a student and an administrator in Higher Education, Ashima researched, experienced, and witnessed the opportunities and hurdles that led people on the margins to either succeed or stumble. She brings that understanding, wide range of experiences, a keen sense of fairness, a trauma-informed ethic, and an insatiable sense of curiosity to her work.
Ashima has helped Minority-Serving, Faith-Based, and large research-intensive multi-campus institutions of Higher Education and their funded projects leverage the power of data to self-reflect on their systems and policies, tell their stories, and make data-informed decisions that prioritize the dignity of their stakeholders.
She brings that agility to ASC where she can quickly assemble a team of experts to meet unique client needs. She works with joy to bring joy.
